Fantasy Heads Challenge 1

Been doing a lot of line and sketch design work recently so want to get back into some painting! This time I wanted to take part in a month's long challenge, as I'm kinda tired of my characters being really smoothly and perfectly rendered so using this as a means to practice some new workflows with painting, I chose the Ahmed Aldoori Fantasy Heads Challenge! Will possibly put all my miscellaneous design work into sketchdumps. Going to work on three heads a day for this challenge and by the end of it I'm aiming to have developed a better painting workflow and some higher quality paintings! I also have downloaded loads of new brushes lately which I'm itching to test out :D
